This last Saturday night we were fortunate enough to be part of a very beautiful & unique wedding experience.  Deb & Tom are a wonderful, very much in love couple who exchanged vows in the presence of Rembrandt & Picasso in the Great Gallery inside the Toledo Museum of Art.  It was an exciting night that included a fire alarm evacuation of the Museum as well as a fainting maid of honor but was bunches of fun and nothing could hide how much in love these two were…it was a bit magical.

Our model search is in full swing!  We have had bunches of applicants and will continue to accept applications for the next month or so from the website-but we had to post a couple of my early favs.  Meet Katie and Adrienne a couple of our first girls to get the model treatment.  Thanks to Southern Breeze for the hair & make-up work!  We had a blast with both our models, thanks ladies for working with us!  We’ll post more from the other models thru the upcoming weeks-stay tuned!  Happy Easter All!

My wife and I were walking thru the store the other day and happened across this cute little vest & tie outfit that would be perfect for our crazy son Kage…we knew he might be less than excited to wear it but we thought we would give it a try and hope to get some easter pictures with our little orange squirt.  Suprisingly, he was actually excited to wear the new duds and he kept referring to them as his “Easter Tuxedo”, he even posed for us and gave us his “smoulder” serious look (we just got done watching Disney’s Tangled).   I love that boy.

We have the pleasure of photographing the many different interests of the high school senior…even for us this was something new.  My dad is a welder and I have always hoped we would have the chance to come across a senior who, like my dad, has love for welding.  Meet Ethan.  We had a great time last night with Ethan and we were glad he let us experiment with some welding shots-here’s a quick peek at what we were doing…Enjoy!

Well, it’s been a while since my last post…Alot has happened  in the last couple months.  We are officially moved in to our new studio/gallery and loving every minute of it!  I will post some pictures very soon of the transformation from shop space to studio/gallery, we are so happy to be done with all the construction now I can give my back a rest for awhile.  We also have worked out a new Senior Model Program that will give a bunch of local seniors the opportunity to test their modeling skills and potentially be seen in thousands of news stands across the country.  We even revamped our Wedding Pricing for the new season, bunches of cool things coming for two-thousand and eleven!

One of the cool new things we are starting this year is specialty sessions and events.  We are starting out with the Fairy Princess Sessions.  We just did some test runs on the set this past Monday and we couldn’t be happier with what we got.  These sessions are intended for girls anywhere from toddler to young woman.  We’ll be posting a special “Fairy Princess” time in early April-look for details soon!  Here’s a quick sneak peek of what we’re excited about!  Enjoy!

At 6 foot 4 inches, 250 pounds I rarely am able to photograph a high school senior (or anyone for that matter) that is bigger than me.  Without the ability to shoot my usual angles without help from a ladder or such device I gained a bunch of respect for those photographers out there who might be vertically-challenged.  Tip o’ my cap to ya…that is much harder.

Nick’s a quite talented athlete who recently just signed a 4-year, full-ride scholarship with a great college.  I thought I would post some of his images and wish him a big congrats!  We had a ton of fun with Nick’s session even though he said modeling was not his favorite thing to do…You did great!  Best of luck on the grid iron!
